Hola amigos, tengo una Lenovo Ideapad Y510P y tengo problemas con el sistema.
Hace un mes el disco duro se daño, y como ya había pasado la garantía tuve que comprar un disco duro nuevo y yo mismo lo instalé. Como el sistema original con el que vino la laptop (windows 8.1 single language) se perdió en el disco que se malogró, tuve que instalar Windows 8.1 PRO de un DVD original que me presto un amigo. Toda la instalacion no tuvo problemas, descargué los drivers de la misma pagina de Lenovo y para la version de windows 8.1 de mi laptop y cuando termine de instalar todos los drivers, comenze a instalar mis programas, los mismos que tenia antes, y cuando termine de instalarlos la laptop hizo un pantallazo extraño, osea algo como que se apago por una decima de segundo y luego regreso a lo que estaba haciendo, osea no se perdio nada de lo que estaba avanzando, no se cerro ninguna pantalla ni nada, pero note que los iconos que estan al lado de la hora en la parte inferior derecha de la pantalla habian desaparecido y justo eran todos los iconos que tenian referencia con driveres, por ejemplo el icono de ADMINISTRACION DE SONIDO REALTEK, ENERGY MANAGEMENT, INTEL RAPID, NVIDIA, e inmediatamente desaparacieron, comenzaron a aparecer todos uno a uno, pero mi sorpresa fue de que no aparecio nunca el icono de NVIDIA. Fue el unico icono que no volvio a aparecer. Yo no le di importancia y segui trabajando. Como a los 15 minutos despues, volvio a suceder lo mismo del pantallazo y desaparecieron los iconos que mencione antes. Despues como a las 2 horas volvio a pasar lo mismo. Bueno, hasta alli estaba algo confundido. Me fui a dormir y al día siguiente encendi la laptop y me dispuse a trabajar. Todo iba bien, por un laptop de 3 horas, y yo pense que solo habia sido cuestion de un dia, pero ocurrio de nuevo, y luego despues de 3 minutos, y despues de 10 minutos mas y asi estuvo dando pantallazos de rato en rato y ya se comenzo a tornar molesto este problema. Se me ocurrio volver a formatear y esta vez no instale el driver de video que estaba en la pagina de nvidia, sino que baje el driver de NVIDIA y el de INTEL de sus paginas correspodientes y baje el ultimo driver que habia alli. Termine de instalar todo y el primer dia trabaje 6 horas en la laptop y no ocurrio nada, yo pense que se habia solucionado, pero al dia siguiente... OTRA VEZ! Igual que antes, los pantallazos, la desaparicion de iconos y reaparicion de iconos, y como mencione antes, jamas volvio a aparecer el icono del PANEL DE CONTROL NVIDIA. Volvi a formatear, y no instale el driver de NVIDIAl, solo instale el driver de INTEL, y volvio a ocurrir lo mismo. Volvi a formatear y no instale ningun driver... Igualito, el mismo problema. Actualize la bios... Continuo el mismo problema. Hasta este momento en el que estoy escribiendo este post, sigo con el mismo problema. Es aletorio, por ejemplo ayer en todo el dia no ocurrio nada, hoy volvio a ocurrir, pero la diferencia es que hoy estaba viendo un video de youtube y en el video se detuvo la imagen pero el sonido continuaba escuchandose sin interrupcion, despues salio el icono de la bolita del mouse asi como cuando esta haciendo un proceso largo y ocurrio el pantallazo otra vez, y lo mismo de que desapareciera el icono de nvidia, y el video de youtube continuo viendose correctamente. No se si a alguien le ha pasado esto, o si sabe a que se debe, pero necesito solucionarlo ya que esta laptop es mi herramienta de trabajo y necesito que este en optimas condiciones.
Alguna sugerencia que no sea llevarla al centro de Lenovo? porque aca en Peru no hay ningun centro de lenovo, asi que seria en vano intentar eso.

Por lo que dices tiene pinta de que la gráfica te está fallando, y siendo un portátil eso significa que si está mal te saldría más a cuenta comprar otro portátil.
Pero antes, vamos a descartar otros posibles fallos:
- Haz un test de memoria. Si te da fallo, ese es el problema; la cambias y ya está.
- Comprueba la temperatura de la RAM, de la CPU y de la GPU con este programa, por ejemplo, a ver si alguna te da alta. Si te da alta la de la CPU o la GPU, te tocará abrir el portátil para echar masilla térmica nueva, a lo mejor ponerle esponjillas térmicas y esperar que se solucione así. Consejo: si es esto, renueva la masilla de ambos micros.
Prueba esto a ver si tiene suerte y se puede solucionar.

Por lo que dices tiene pinta de que la gráfica te está fallando, y siendo un portátil eso significa que si está mal te saldría más a cuenta comprar otro portátil.
Pero antes, vamos a descartar otros posibles fallos:
- Haz un test de memoria. Si te da fallo, ese es el problema; la cambias y ya está.
- Comprueba la temperatura de la RAM, de la CPU y de la GPU con este programa, por ejemplo, a ver si alguna te da alta. Si te da alta la de la CPU o la GPU, te tocará abrir el portátil para echar masilla térmica nueva, a lo mejor ponerle esponjillas térmicas y esperar que se solucione así. Consejo: si es esto, renueva la masilla de ambos micros.
Prueba esto a ver si tiene suerte y se puede solucionar.

Por la información que has puesto, la gráfica es una intel HD4600; eso es una gráfica integrada, no una NVIDIA.
La temperatura está bien, incluso baja.
Veo que tienes un monitor externo conectado. Prueba a utilizar el portátil sin él conectado.

No es lo deseable, pero prueba a desactivar (si puedes) la gráfica integrada de intel en la BIOS. Normalmente pondrá alguna opción como IGD.

Bueno, ahora tengo un nuevo problema! La formatie y le instale windows 7 ultimate x64 en modo MBR ( no gpt, osea que no tiene arranque uefi) y la tarjeta de.video ya no molesta, pero a veces me desparece el icono del volumen! El volumen si se escucha en la laptop, videos de youtube, musica etc... Pero "a veces" cuando enciendo la laptop no aparece el icono del volumen d windows ni tampoco el icono del panel de control del sonido de Realtek. Alguien sabe que podria pasar?

Lo de la gráfica cómo se te arregló, desactivando la gráfica de intel o al cambiar la versión de Windows?
Y respecto a lo del sonido, no te salen o te salen en los iconos que no se muestran?
